The former Director of Airport Operations (DAO) at the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Capt. Hamisu Rabiu Yadudu, has been appointed by the Federal Government as the new Managing Director of FAAN.
His appointment was approved by President Muhammad Buhari with effect from May 20, 2019 in a letter signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transportation, Mr. S. Zakari.
Capt. Yadudu is an International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and Airport Council International (ACI) accredited International Airport Professional. He also holds professional certifications in Avionics, Airport Safety Management Systems, Airport Security Management, and Air Transport Systems Management amongst others.
His appointment takes immediate effect in line with the conditions of service of the Federal Airport Authority as contained in the extant rules and regulations of such appointments as approved for the Agency by the Federal Government.
He takes over from Engr. Saleh Dunoma who took office in 2014 and creditably completed his term in office before this recent appointment.
