Uganda Airlines Orders Two Airbus A330neo Aircraft – by Mary OKWUELUM


Uganda Airlines has ordered for two Airbus A330-800 airliners to ensure customers comfort and satisfaction.

The airline plans to build its medium and long haul network with the new aircraft fitted with the latest technology while offering smooth operations.

The new aircraft is said to be very versatile and reliable amongst the A330 family with a 25% per seat reduction in fuel consumption and an increased range of up to 1,500nm compared to other A330s currently in operation.

The A330 aircraft was reportedly launched in July 2014 while the A330neo family is the new generation of the A330. The A330 comprises of two versions sharing 99% characteristics. The A330neo is powered by the newest and popular Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines; new wings and new A350 XWB-inspired sharklets. The cabin offers comfort of the new airspace amenities with modern passenger in-flight and Wi-Fi connectivity.
